Time to roll up the sleeves and start planning to make some gorgeous home made gifts for Christmas using my favourite #callebaut ruby chocolate. This chocolate has a slightly sweet and sour taste reminding me very much of Raspberries. I have found it really hard to get good ruby chocolate and was delighted when I got some locally. A really light, fluffy and sweet strawberry and almond cake. This cake just makes me smile. I know it is not strawberry season but a slice of this cake is in order this weekend to combat the winter blues. After queuing for hours to enroll my kid in swim classes (the most ridiculous system ever) I am rewarding myself with a bowl of leftover beek stew and pasta. Happy Halloween Eve everyone! Just one more sleep and we are soooo excited for tomorrow. It's nearly time! With Halloween just over a week away, it is time to get in the spirit of things. We will decorate the house this weekend and paint and carve our pumpkins (yes we wait until now otherwise you have rotten pumpkins lingering in the house for way too long). Sunny days! Happy Tuesday everyone. Need a hug? Make yourself a bowl of this warming sweet potato chowder and voila, a hug in a bowl. Some lunchtime meal prep for the week ahead. Spooktacular Mummy Dogs for the Halloween win. Every year we add a few more snacks and festive plates to our table for the months leading up to Halloween and Christmas. Don't you just love the winter months? So much excitement and so many fun things to do and make.
